I am an orthopaedic spine surgeon practicing in Chennai, India for the past 12 years. Spine surgery is my special interest. I have been trained in some of the top institutes in the country. In my daily practice, I find that there are several misconceptions and lack of awareness among the people about spine related problems. These misconceptions often result in undue fear and sometimes lead to wrong decisions by them. A delay in approaching a specialist for treatment may cause serious disability sometimes.
The aim of this blog is to try and spread awareness among people about spinal problems and their treatment options. I also aim to allay the undue fears that trouble them due to misinformation and misconceptions.
